Pleasantly Surprise with NWA

I just wanted to add a personal note regarding NWA. I recently became a Silver Elite member with NWA just because I fly to Asia in a full fare business class ticket.

I have to admit, it was one of the best service I've ever had going to Asia. I had always flown Asian Carriers and I have to say NWA give them a run for their money. This brings me to my personal note. I hope with the impending merger with Delta we do not lose what made NWA special.

Have I under appreciated NWA all these years? Delta has announced the Northwest Brand will disappear by 2010. I have flown NWA twice since January and both times I've had the most incredible service, even when I was in coach. The service have been outstanding from checkin to baggage claim.

Once again, good luck with the merger. Traditionally, Delta has always done well with mergers, let's not forget that NWA was a wonderful carrier! We will miss you.

US Air Crew on Letterman

I just finished watching the US Airways Crew from flight 1549 on David Letterman. I must say they represented the Airline industry well. They were funny, articulate, and very professional. They made our industry proud.

I felt for the entire flight crew. They did a great job and lets hope we don't forget about them over time and continue to support them in their recovery.

Good job!
