These are difficult times. What other bargaining chip do they have? Management threatens liquidation if they don't get blah, blah, blah... Labor threatens a strike if blah, blah, blah
Historically, some form of compromise will probably result. This is basically VERY high stakes poker, Where lives will be effected.
